The Website offers both free and premium content. The first ten stories are available in full without an account. To access the remaining stories, you must sign in using Google OAuth and complete a one-time payment.

When you sign in with Google, we create an account using your name and email address as provided by Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs under your account on our Website.

Intellectual Property

The stories presented on this Website are modernised versions of Sir Richard Francis Burton's 1885–1888 translation of The Book of the Thousand Nights and a Night. Burton's original translation is in the public domain.

However, the modernised text, the original illustrations accompanying each story, the website design, and all other original content on this Website are © Andrea Malagodi, 2026. All rights reserved. This modernisation represents substantial creative effort across 443 stories and sixteen volumes, and is protected by copyright.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and read the stories on this Website for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
